Crosscutting Research: Security

Security is embedded in every task of the CRA. In addition, we offer a separate task dedicated entirely to CPS security to complement, coordinate, and bolster other security efforts within the CRA, and distill and solve cross-cutting security challenges for IoBTs. A beneficial side-effect of this task is to prevent duplication of research that may result when similar security considerations, arising in the context of different CRA tasks, result in concurrent pursuit of largely overlapping research challenges over the course of the CRA. Logistically, the cost of this task is divided equally among the three research areas and is borne by the institutions of PIs of this task.
