Fundamentally advance the science of dynamically composing, operating, adapting, and assessing future evolving, intelligent, goal-driven IoBTs to meet commander’s intent in dynamic adversarial environments marked by extreme heterogeneity, scale, predominance of threats, and fast operating tempo.
Catalyze interdisciplinary research on IoBT-related topics that creates new directions of relevance to the Army and fosters emergence of new research communities around these directions, offering a force multiplier.
Validate research results in contexts that ensure relevance of the fundamental research to Army needs, including use of relevant data sets, experimental facilities, and test prototypes, as well as analytical proofs.
Publicize promising research, experiments, results and events to industry and government partners who can become consumers of research results and transition partners.
